2007: Successful Relaunch of Dance4Life in Kenya

In May 2007, a meeting was held in Nairobi with a number of organizations to identify a new NCO.

This led to Africa Alive! a regional NGO taking up the role of NCO. Kwacha Afrika would perform as a regional NCO implementing the concept in Mombasa and along the coast of Kenya. The Centre for the Study of Adolescents(CSA) came on board as the life skills partner using the World Population Fund (WPF) computer based methodology.

In July 2007 there was a training to implement the Dance4Life Heart Connection tour (HCT) this was immediately followed by a rollout in 10 schools. More than 5000 youth were reached with the intervention.

Dance4Life has also presented at a number of events including the governments World AIDS Day commemoration in Nairobi.

The partnership has flourished and the team had the opportunity to present to the European Union delegation of Coca-Cola together with some media in November.
