Schools Dance4Life Event

Dance4Life Event

The last stage of our Dance4Life Schools Programme is the Event. The event takes place every two years (2008) on the Saturday before World AIDS Day, and it is a reward for involvement in the programme.  Events take place in every country that Dance4Life works in.  It is a celebration of the successes of all young people involved in Dance4Life, a symbol of solidarity and a powerful statement made by young people.

Young people all over the world perform the Drill simultaneously, creating a powerful message. On the off year (2007), the UK intends to hold regional events.

The Dance4life Event allows young people to join together to demonstrate the universal desire for change in the fight against HIV and AIDS, and also generates the attention of the government and the media.
